      Dressage and Western Dressage

      Brian MacMahon

      As a bachelor of science, University of Miami and Masters in Business, University of Miami. Brian is a bronze, silver & gold medalist -USDF An S dressage judge - USEF and an R western dressage judge - USEF.

      MacMahon owns and operates a dressage training facility in Wellborn, Fl with his partner Eugene Abello. They have students competing from the lower levels through Grand Prix. They travel throughout the South-East coaching students in the sport of dressage.

      Dorothy (Dot) Demis

      Dorothy has been a USEF Dressage Judge for over 25 years, she earned her S promotion in 2018. She is a USDF bronze, silver & gold medalist and has won numerous regional and national awards on horses she has trained herself. Her students, both amateur and professional, have competed successfully at all levels. 

      Born in Massachusetts, Dot earned a degree in Nuclear Physics. 
      Most recently, she and her husband Nick, sold their training facility, Settlement Farm. They currently reside in The Villages, Florida.

      Margaret Freeman

      Margaret Freeman is a USEF Senior dressage judge living in Tryon, NC. She has been judging dressage shows for 36 years.  Freeman is a freelance editor and has covered the equestrian events at seven Olympics for the Associated Press.

      She is an experienced show organizer, and is on the board of Lendon Gray’s Dressage4Kids, and has been on the founding committees of CDCTA (VA), as well as Dressage at Devon (PA).

      Heather Stalker

      Heather is a USEF senior judge and R western Dressage Judge who makes her home in Alachua Florida.

      A USDF gold medalist, as well as a silver & bronze medalist with distinction, she continues to be an active competitor in both Dressage and western Dressage. Judging honors include the WDAA world show & international online show, Arabian sport Horse nationals, the Morgan grand national show and Arabian youth nationals.

      Ida Norris

      Ida Norris is a licensed  USEF "S" judge and "R" WD judge. She has her gold, silver and bronze USDF medals, as well as WDAA Gold medal rider award (Level 5 ) on horses she trained herself.

      Ida has been competing & teaching using her Pivo since 2017. Ida is a specialist in helping riders to train their own horses in harmony. She specializes in virtual lessons using Pivo & has an online Academy of self-guided courses as well as Master Classes for trainers and riders. Ida currently competes Intermediate Level Dressage and Level Five Western Dressage with her mare Lilith.

      Cynthia Ganem

      Cynthia's passion for horses began early, she rode Western & realized her interest in Dressage & has been dedicated to training & competing in this discipline ever since. Her enthusiasm for horses & riding inspired her to deepen her knowledge, eventually becoming a Western Dressage ‘R’ Judge.

      She competes at Prix St. George. Ganem has judged the WDAA World Competition, the Online International & will judge the World Show again in 2025. Cherishing every aspect of the equestrian world. She admires the dedication, sacrifices & joy that riders pour into their relationships with horses.

      Lori Barnard

      Lori is a USEF “S” dressage judge and a USDF bronze, silver & gold medalist. When not traveling to judge, Lori operates her teaching & training program from the Northwest region of Vermont. She has helped many of her students qualify for regional championships & achieve their riding medals.

      In addition to judging at the 2023 US Dressage Finals, Lori officiated at Region 1 and 8 Championships and the 2023 CBLM Championships.

      Charlotte Trentelman

      Charlotte is a USEF S Dressage Judge & R Western Dressage Judge. She's competed through Grand Prix Dressage & Advanced Combined Driving, after spending time in the Arabian and Hunter rings.

      She developed Rebel Ridge Farm in Ocala, Florida, as a teaching and training facility which she has developed for over 30 years.

      eventing

      Joan Fleser

      Joan is an FEI & USEF Eventing Judge. She is also an FEI Dressage & Eventing Steward-L3, and a USEF Dressage Technical Delegate. Over the years she has had the honor of officiating at two Olympics plus WEG, the World Cup, Fair Hill International 4*, the American Eventing Championships, Kentucky 3 Day, Braham Horse Trials, Strezgohm and Aachen. Joan is also a Future & Young Event Horse Judge.

      When not officiating, she competes with her OTTB in Eventing & Dressage, races sports cars, babysits her 2 granddaughters and travels the world with her husband Brian.

      Carolyn Lindholm

      Carolyn initially rode hunters & jumpers before she focused on dressage. She has also done vaulting, & has ridden cutting horses. She enjoys seeing all breeds of horses in dressage. 

      She is an “R” dressage judge, an “R” western dressage judge, an “R” eventing judge, & she is also on the AQHA list of judges for western dressage. When she is not playing with horses, she is a practicing attorney in the healthcare field.
