Introducing Pivo Annotation: The Future of Remote Coaching Starts Now

Great coaching isn’t just about recording. It’s about feedback.

Today, we’re introducing one of the most awaited feature upgrades: Pivo Annotation (Trainer Feedback) — a built-in tool that lets you annotate directly on your video.

From Recording to Real Feedback

For years, Pivo has helped athletes record their training sessions hands-free using AI tracking technology. Riders, tennis players, dancers, fitness enthusiasts, and coaches have relied on Pivo to capture movement with precision. But recording is only the first step. Improvement happens when you:

  • See what happened

  • Understand what needs correction

  • Apply feedback clearly

  • Repeat the process

That’s where Annotation Feedback changes everything.

What Is Pivo Annotation?

Pivo Annotation allows coaches to leave structured feedback directly on training videos — inside the Pivo Track app. Coaches can now: Add time-stamped comments, leave voice notes and draw directly on the video to highlight posture, lines, angles, balance, and movement. This transforms passive video watching into guided performance review.

How It Works (For Riders)

The process is seamless: Record Your Session using Pivo. Upload the video to your Pivo Cloud. Request trainer feedback by sharing the link with your coach. That’s it.

When your trainer submits feedback, you receive an email notification and can review all comments and voice notes directly inside the app.

You can even send the same video to multiple coaches for broader insight.

How It Works (For Coaches)

Coaches can annotate in two ways:

Option 1: Via Shared Link

When a student sends a Trainer Feedback link: Log into your Pivo account. Watch or download the video. Add comments, voice notes, drawings and Submit feedback! You can always return later to edit or delete feedback.

Option 2: Use “My Coach Link”

Coaches can generate a personal Shareable link or QR code to send to their students.

Students can upload videos directly through your link and request feedback. You’ll receive a notification and can annotate immediately.

What Makes This Powerful?

The level of clarity and precision it brings to coaching. Instead of giving general advice like “work on your balance,” coaches can leave time-stamped comments that pinpoint the exact second an adjustment is needed, for example, identifying a dropped shoulder at 1:34 or a late transition during a specific stride. This specificity dramatically accelerates learning because riders can connect what they felt with what actually happened on screen. Voice notes add another layer of depth, allowing coaches to communicate tone, nuance, and encouragement in a way that written comments alone cannot capture.

Built for Modern Riders & Coaches

The Pivo Annotation feature is designed for the way riders and coaches train today — flexible, connected, and not limited by geography. Riders are no longer restricted to only the feedback they receive during a single weekly lesson; they can record a ride, upload it to Pivo Cloud, and request detailed feedback whenever they need it. Coaches, in turn, can expand their reach beyond their local arena, reviewing videos, leaving structured comments, voice notes, and visual markings, and supporting students across different locations and time zones.

Train Solo. Improve Together.

The future of coaching isn’t limited by geography. It’s structured, connected, and measurable. With Pivo Annotation, riders can train independently — but never alone.
Coaches can teach beyond borders. And every session becomes an opportunity for real, visible progress. With AI Horse & Body Tracking, Lessons Mode, Coach Directory, Cloud Storage, Annotation Feedback and more, Pivo is becoming a complete performance ecosystem. You record. You upload. You receive structured feedback. You improve. All inside one connected system.
