So, What is Horse Tracking Basic 2.0?
Compared to the Horse Tracking Basic feature, this updated version is combines smoother and smarter tracking. We’ve updated the Horse Tracking intelligence to deliver: Improved movement prediction as the AI technology anticipates your horse’s path more accurately, meaning better responsiveness and fewer tracking dropouts. Horse Tracking Basic 2.0 offers more fluid tracking, even during fast gaits or tighter turns. It also helps differentiate your horse from the reflection in arena mirrors, and helps track the front and back silhouette of your horse better, when you are riding towards or away from the camera. It is also helpful for when you have to place your Pivo at a position other than at X!
It’s everything you love about Horse Tracking Basic—but refined and optimized for modern riding routines and needs. So you can simply choose the tracking option that suits you best!
How It Differs from Horse Tracking Advanced
While Horse Tracking Basic 2.0 is a powerful upgrade, it’s still distinct from Horse Tracking Advanced which recognizes the target of a rider atop a horse, and also helps differentiate when there are other horses (without riders) present around in the vicinity and camera view.
Since Horse Tracking Basic 2.0's AI Technology detects the shape of a horse, it does not differentiate the horse you are riding from other riderless horses in a field. While the Horse Tracking Advanced mode looks specifically for a horse+rider combination, it thereby differentiates between other riderless horses in the field.
Basic 2.0 is perfect for most riders’ everyday training needs. It bridges the gap between casual filming and professional-level performance tracking. It powers the core automatic tracking experience in the Pivo Track App with better detection and re-identification of horse and rider, even during fast movements or when the subject briefly exits the frame. The motion is smoother to reduce erratic panning and the camera's motion is more natural for your training sessions!
